Following are the symptoms we should all be aware of as they relate to the possibility of an impending heart attack:
*Chest tightness
*Heavy sweating
*Nausea
*Shortness of breath
*Fainting Women may experience pain or tightness lower in the chest than men will or perhaps tightness in the jaw, arm or throat. On 3/28/08 the Today Show recommended that the affected person chew (not swallow) one uncoated adult aspirin immediately, call 911 and not drive themselves to the hospital. The quicker the person arrives at the hospital, the better the chances of survival will be.
